Terms of Service

By downloading or using the QuikRent mobile application, or by accessing any QuikRent web page (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms are effective as of 1 July 2026.

QuikRent provides two interconnected services:

• A mobile application that allows property owners to create and manage rental property listings, including unit details, photographs, rent amounts, and availability.
• A web platform that generates a public-facing showcase page for each listed property, accessible via a unique shareable link, for prospective tenants to view.

QuikRent is a listing and showcase platform only. We are not a party to any rental agreement between property owners and tenants, and we do not facilitate or guarantee any rental transactions.

To use the QuikRent mobile app, you must create an account. You can register and sign in using your email address (via a one-time verification code), Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@quikrent.app if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

You may not create accounts using automated means, create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, or impersonate any person or entity.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings
• List properties you do not own or have no authority to rent
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party rights
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws

As a property owner, you are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information you publish, including rent amounts, unit details, availability dates, deposit terms, and photographs.

You represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal right to list and rent the property
• All information in your listing is accurate and not misleading
• Your listing and any rental activities comply with all applicable local laws and regulations
• You will keep your listing up to date, including marking units as occupied when they are no longer available

QuikRent supports Google Maps verification to establish real-world ownership of a listing. If another user verifies the same physical location by linking their Google Maps business listing to their QuikRent page, our system grants them exclusive rights to that property page URL and your page will be taken offline. This is intentional — Google Maps verification is the mechanism by which genuine ownership is established, and only the verified owner may operate a live page for a given location.

Free Trial

When you add your first unit type to a property, your property page goes live and a 3-day free trial begins automatically. No payment information is required to start the trial.

• Trial eligibility is tied to the real-world location (Google Place ID) of the property, not your account.
• Each physical location receives exactly one free trial ever, tracked permanently in our systems.
• Deleting your property or account and recreating a listing for the same location does not grant a new free trial.

Property Page Availability

Your property page is live only when the property is within its active trial period or covered by an active subscription. An automated daily process takes pages offline when a trial expires or a subscription lapses. There is no grace period after expiry.

Annual Subscription

After your trial ends, an annual subscription is required to keep your property page live. Subscriptions are billed annually and processed through Razorpay, our payment partner. QuikRent does not receive or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.

• A subscription is linked to your user account, not the property. If you delete a property, your subscription remains active and can be reassigned.
• An active subscription can be transferred to any other property you own that does not already have an active subscription.

Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each annual billing period.
• You may cancel at any time from within the app. Your property page will remain live until the end of the current paid period.
• No refunds are issued for unused time within an active billing period.

Payment Failures

If a payment fails, your subscription moves to a past-due status and your property page may be taken offline until payment is resolved. We will send push notifications to alert you before your trial or subscription expires.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including property descriptions, photographs, and other materials ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant QuikRent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service — including displaying it on your public property showcase page.

You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights to the content you upload, including photographs. Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use.

The QuikRent platform, including its design, logos, software, and all content created by QuikRent, is owned by QuikRent and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use QuikRent's trademarks, logos, or brand features without our prior written consent.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying software.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. QuikRent does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. QuikRent does not verify the accuracy of property listings and makes no representations about the properties listed on the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuikRent and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

QuikRent is not responsible for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from interactions or agreements between property owners and prospective tenants. All rental arrangements are solely between the parties involved.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time directly from within the QuikRent app.

QuikRent reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, remove your listings, or restrict your access to the Service at any time and without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity, or acted in a manner harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your public property showcase pages will be taken offline. Any active subscriptions at the time of account deletion are canceled immediately and are not eligible for a refund.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
