QuikRent ("we", "our", or "us") operates the QuikRent mobile application and the QuikRent web platform (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have in relation to that information.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. This policy is effective as of 24 April 2026.

Account Information

When you create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address from those providers. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google password.

Property Data

If you are a property owner using our mobile app, you provide us with property details including property name, address, unit types, rent amounts, availability, lease terms, and photographs of your property and units. This information is used to generate your public property showcase page.

Device and Usage Information

We may collect information about the device you use to access our Service, including device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage patterns. This helps us maintain and improve the Service.

Location

We do not actively collect your precise GPS location. Property addresses are entered manually by property owners and are used solely to identify and display the property on its showcase page.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your QuikRent account
• Generate and host your public property showcase page
• Enable you to update property details, rent amounts, and availability in real time
• Send you important service-related communications (such as account confirmations)
• Diagnose technical issues and improve the performance and features of our Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers listed in Section 4, solely to operate the Service
• If required by law, court order, or government authority
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of QuikRent, our users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where the acquirer agrees to honour this policy

Property information you publish (property name, unit details, images, rent, availability) is intentionally public and accessible to anyone with your property link. Do not include sensitive personal information in your property listing.

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the QuikRent app — go to your profile and select the account deletion option. Deletion is permanent and removes your account, property listings, and all uploaded images from our systems.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure, which employs industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@quikrent.app and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your personal information (available directly in the app)
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
